Flats4rent Residenza ai Tigli Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Flats4rent Residenza ai Tigli? It’s one of those places that doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street, but once you’re inside, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty special. I mean, the name literally translates to “residence at the lime trees,” and honestly, that’s exactly the vibe – it feels more like you’re staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than some cookie-cutter hotel.
The whole setup is refreshingly straightforward. These aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms, but actual apartment-style spaces that give you room to breathe. I loved having a proper kitchen area – nothing fancy, but functional enough that I could grab fresh ingredients from the local market and actually cook a decent meal instead of eating out every single night. The furnishings lean modern but not in that sterile way that makes you afraid to touch anything. Actually, the attention to detail surprised me – good linens, decent coffee setup, and the kind of lighting that doesn’t make you look like you’re recovering from something serious.
What really sold me on this place was how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble where everything costs twice as much and tastes half as good. The area has that lived-in feel where you’ll hear actual conversations in Italian floating up from the street, not just tour guides herding groups around. Parking was way easier than I expected – there’s usually space nearby, which honestly is half the battle in most Italian cities. The 8.6 rating makes total sense when you experience the place firsthand. It’s not trying to be everything to everyone, but what it does, it does really well. The staff actually knows the area and can point you toward the good stuff – like which trattoria doesn’t just serve reheated tourist food and where to find the best gelato that locals actually eat. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises or hidden fees, and the whole experience felt refreshingly honest. If you’re the type who’d rather have a comfortable base to explore from instead of spending all your time in hotel lobbies, this place gets it right.
Verona’s apartments offer charming accommodations with period features, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this culturally rich Italian city.

What could be improved: The shower curtain was too oldBeata from Sweden – 16 February 2025 (9/10)

Location was great right on the river, 30minutes walk to train station, 5 minutes walk to Arena.
Very retro feel to the apartment.
Clean and great size for a family of 5.
All the utensils were there if you want to cook.
Nice and quiet.
Area around outside felt very safe.
What could be improved: Tiles missing in shower and some lights and lamps not working.Richard from Cyprus – 28 March 2024 (8/10)
Great location, easy walk to sites. Large apartment with plenty of room for a family
What could be improved: It needs updating, and renovation, but was still very functionalHarris from Ireland – 23 March 2024 (8/10)
The location of the apartment is fantastic, you are really in the heart of Verona. The apartment itself was clean and beautiful with a great view of the Quays and hillside. Will definetly recommend for a group of friends who want to visit Verona.

Location and oldish modernist style of the house
What could be improved: It will be better with a maintenance. Paint and bathroom maintenance will be good for the house. If the covers of the coaches and carpets of the dressing room will change it will be a great property.Thomas from Ireland – 11 July 2023 (9/10)
Central location in Centro Storico area. 5 min walk to a supermarket and 5 min walk to all our evening needs for wine or dine. Less than 10 min to the Arena which was great as we attended La Traviata one night. Less than 15 mins to Ponte Pietro and more great places to visit. The property itself had a really well equipped kitchen and spacious living space, 3 air conditioned bedrooms and a large bathroom with separate shower and bath/jacuzzi. There was a 2nd smaller shower/toilet off the laundry room.
What could be improved: Some if the sockets were not compatible with our travel adapters but there were other adapters left for our use that sorted that issue for us.Ivan from Russia – 1 June 2023 (9/10)
