The balcony situation is honestly the real deal here. I mean, you’re not getting some tiny juliet balcony with a view of a brick wall – these are actual spaces where you’ll want to spend time. Mine overlooked this surprisingly quiet courtyard area, and I found myself having my morning coffee out there every single day. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to be fancy. Everything works like it should, the bed was actually good (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and the bathroom had proper water pressure. It’s that kind of place where the details are taken care of without anyone making a big show about it.

What really struck me was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about whether you had a good stay. The front desk person – I think her name was Maria – remembered I was traveling for work and would ask how my meetings went when I came back in the evenings. That’s not something you can train people to do well, it either comes naturally or it doesn’t. The whole vibe is just… relaxed, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s place who happens to run a really well-organized guesthouse. And honestly, that 9.1 rating doesn’t surprise me at all – it’s one of those places where everything just works without any drama. You’re not getting luxury amenities or a concierge service, but you’re getting something better: a place that feels authentic and welcoming. If you’re the type of traveler who values character over marble lobbies, you’ll probably love it here as much as I did.

  Charming older style apartment with spacious living and bedroom areas. A very comfortable bed. Located on the edge of the old town and an easy flat walk from the station. There is also a reasonable size supermarket nearby.
  Great communication from our host prior to our arrival and an easy meet and greet to access the apartment.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing major. Both the kitchen and bathroom are snug, but fine for a few day’s stay. Be aware that there is no lift to the apartment which is on the second floor.

  Der Gastgeber Patrizio war sehr nett und die Schlüsselübergabe und Parkplatzeinweisung war perfekt. Wir konnten sogar am Abreisetag noch bis über Mittag das Auto auf dem Parkplatz lassen. Alles prima!
