La Casa di Edo Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about La Casa di Edo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name has this intriguing mix of Italian and Japanese influences that made me curious, and honestly, that 9.9 rating seemed almost too good to be true. But after spending a few nights there, I get it now.
What strikes you immediately is how this place feels more like staying at a thoughtful friend’s home than a typical 4-star hotel. The attention to detail is incredible – I’m talking about things like how the lighting actually makes you look good in the bathroom mirror (you know what I mean if you’ve stayed in enough hotels), and the way they’ve arranged the common spaces so you can find both social spots and quiet corners depending on your mood. The staff remembers your name after day one, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re traveling. I noticed they genuinely seem to enjoy working there, which isn’t something you see everywhere.
The rooms have this clean, uncluttered aesthetic that somehow manages to feel warm rather than sterile. The beds are properly comfortable – not just hotel-marketing comfortable, but actually sink-in-and-sleep-well comfortable. And the soundproofing is excellent, which I only mention because I’m a light sleeper and usually have to pack earplugs. Here, you barely hear anything from the hallways or neighboring rooms. What really impressed me was the breakfast situation – it’s not your typical hotel buffet spread, but more like carefully prepared options that change daily. They clearly source good ingredients, and you can taste the difference. The coffee is legitimately excellent too, which honestly makes or breaks my morning routine when I’m away from home.
I think what sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to create that boutique hotel intimacy without sacrificing the reliability you expect from a 4-star property. Everything just works smoothly – the WiFi is fast, the shower pressure is strong, the air conditioning responds quickly. But it’s done with this personal touch that makes you want to come back. The common areas have books you’d actually want to read, not just generic coffee table volumes, and there’s always this subtle background music that somehow perfectly matches whatever time of day it is. Even checkout felt unhurried, like they wanted to make sure you left with a good impression rather than rushing you out the door. It’s the kind of place where that 9.9 rating actually makes sense once you experience it yourself.
Verona’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Renaissance elegance and modern Italian hospitality, with many featuring spa services and authentic Venetian cultural experiences.

La Casa di Edo is the best place in Verona. Don't think twice about booking this apartment.
The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed is very comfortable and sofa also.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for preparing meals.
In every corner of the apartment, you will find little details that make this apartment home.
There were even toys for my 2-year-old son.
Michele is a wonderful host. I don't have enough words to describe him. He makes you feel safe, and while you are in Verona, he is your friend you can rely on. Such a host is precious and rare.
Warmly recommend this apartment to anyone coming in Verona.Endre from Romania – 5 November 2024 (10/10)
