La Corte Di Giulietta Overview
First Impressions
Walking into La Corte Di Giulietta feels like stepping into a Renaissance fairy tale — and I mean that in the best possible way. This four-star boutique hotel sits right inside Juliet’s actual courtyard on Via Cappello, which honestly blew my mind when I first realized where I was staying. You’re literally sleeping where Shakespeare’s most famous love story supposedly unfolded, and the hotel makes the most of this incredible setting without going overboard with the romance theme.
Location That Can’t Be Beat
I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Verona, but this location is something else entirely. You’re in the Città Antica, which means everything worth seeing is within a five-minute walk — the Arena, Piazza delle Erbe, all those charming little wine bars tucked into medieval alleyways. What I love most is that you can slip back to your room between sightseeing without the hassle of trams or taxis. The couples who stay here absolutely get it — there’s something magical about wandering these cobblestone streets at night and knowing you’re sleeping in the heart of it all.
The Rooms
The accommodations here are thoughtfully designed with period touches that feel authentic rather than gimmicky. Each space blends historical charm with modern comfort — think exposed beams, elegant fabrics, and bathrooms that actually work properly (you’d be surprised how rare that combo is in historic Italian hotels). The beds deserve special mention because they’re genuinely some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Europe. After long days exploring Verona’s hills and countless staircases, sinking into these mattresses felt like a small miracle every single night.
Morning Rituals
Breakfast here keeps things authentically Italian, which I actually prefer to those massive international buffets you find at chain hotels. You’ll get proper espresso, fresh pastries, and local specialties that change with the seasons. The restaurant area has this intimate feel where you can plan your day while watching other guests — mostly couples, honestly — figure out their own Verona adventures. It’s the kind of morning routine that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through.
Why Guests Love It
What sets La Corte Di Giulietta apart isn’t just the incredible location or the comfortable beds — it’s how the whole experience feels curated without being stuffy. The staff knows their city inside and out, so they’ll point you toward that perfect aperitivo spot or the best gelato that tourists haven’t discovered yet. You’re paying for the privilege of sleeping in one of Verona’s most romantic locations, sure, but you’re also getting a genuinely well-run hotel that understands what travelers actually want. Whether you’re here for the Shakespeare connection or just want to explore this gorgeous city, you’ll find yourself in exactly the right place.

Beautiful room in a special location. Being able to wander around the courtyard after hours was incredibly special. Easy to find as the courtyard is very well signposted, we parked just outside Verona centre and walked over – took less than 15 minutes. Special mention to host Michela who was beyond helpful – reccomending the best places to eat and what we should go and see. She even brought us a delicious cake!

The Lavinia apartment exceeded my expectations. You can see Juliette and her balcony from your window all night. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the linens were luxurious and felt amazing to sleep in. The cleanliness was top tier with daily housekeeping. Breakfast was continental type and great, fridge was filled daily with water, juice and milk as needed.

Beautifully renovated apartment in classic style right on the courtyard. The host Michela is wonderful. She met us to check us in and explained everything, gave us many options and recommendations and even shared a glass of wine with us before she left. Nice assortment of snacks and water was included as well. Great place to stay in Verona.

We spent just one night in this suite, and it was truly unforgettable. The location couldn’t be more perfect—right in the heart of Verona, with the magical touch of having the Giulietta balcony visible from the room. The window looks out over the courtyard.
The suite itself is beautiful—completely renovated, stylish, and so comfortable. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it feel both modern and welcoming.
What made our stay even more special was Michela. She’s a fantastic host—warm, kind, and full of great recommendations. Thanks to her tips, we had an incredible dinner and discovered some fantastic local wines.Thom from Sweden – 1 January 2025 (10/10)
