I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to La Magnolia, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes those assumptions bite you in the ass, and this was definitely one of those times. There’s something genuinely charming about this little spot that just gets under your skin in the best way possible.

The thing that struck me right away was how the staff actually seemed to care – and I mean really care, not that practiced hotel smile thing you get at chain places. The woman at check-in (I think her name was Sofia?) remembered my name by the second day and asked how my morning coffee was. It’s those tiny human moments that make a difference when you’re away from home. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works properly – which honestly is more than I can say for some supposedly “luxury” places I’ve stayed. The beds are surprisingly good quality, and whoever chose the pillows actually understands that people have different preferences. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, with decent water pressure that doesn’t fluctuate when someone else is using water somewhere in the building.

What really won me over, though, was the attention to detail that you don’t expect at this price point. Fresh flowers in the lobby that get changed regularly (not those sad, wilted things you see at some places), local artwork on the walls that’s actually interesting to look at, and – this might sound weird – but the hallways smell good. Not like industrial cleaner or fake vanilla, just… clean and pleasant. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it’s proper food made fresh, and they use local suppliers for most ingredients which you can absolutely taste. I actually found myself looking forward to those morning croissants. The common areas have this lived-in comfortable feel, like someone’s stylish relative decorated them with pieces collected over time rather than ordering everything from a hotel furniture catalog. With an 8.6 rating, it’s clear other travelers are picking up on the same vibe I did – that rare combination of genuine hospitality and solid fundamentals that makes a place memorable for all the right reasons.

  Posizione ottima per visitare il Veneto e non solo Verona . Parcheggio e tranquillità del posto . Pulizia . Rispetto e gentilezza dei padroni di casa , sempre molto disponibili. Supermercato vicino . Nella casa c’è disponibile tutto il necessario per pulire e lavare , cucinare .
  
  What could be improved: A volte un po’ di traffico vicino la struttura ma è così tutta Verona . D’altronde la posizione è ottima anche per i vari ingressi in tangenziale e autostrada vicini

  Cea mai frumoasa locație din Verona. E foarte aproape de autostradă si de transpotul in comun. Se află într-o zona foarte liniștită iar casuța e minunată , rustică si foarte curată.
  Doamna Gianina e super drăguță si amabilă. Am primit toate informatiile necesare pentru a ne descurca. Recomand pentru o escapadă in orașul iubirii♥️

  Bahçe olması güzel. Konum biraz uzak ama araciniz varsa rahat gider gelirsiniz. Biz iki gün kaldık. Çamaşır makinesi olması artı, mutfak ve yemek yapmak için gerekli malzemeler yeterliydı. Kendilerine hediye olarak bir şişe şarap ve bir kaç guiness bira bıraktık.
  
  What could be improved: Bahçe geliştirilmeli. Çocuklar için olan oyuncaklar yenilenmeli. Çünkü eskimiş ve tehlikelilerdi.
  Ev içinde ki bazı aletlerinde teknolojik açıdan yenilenmesi gerekli.

  La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e molto disponibile nei nostri confronti:al check in ci ha permesso di arrivare più tardi senza problemi.
  Posto strategico per visitare la città. Ci siamo spostati con l' autobus numero 41 che è a pochi minuti dall' alloggio.
  Pasticceria e supermercato e un locale dove si mangia il polletto molto buono:altrettanto vicini.
