You know what surprised me most about Laura Home? How a simple 3-star place can feel so much more personal than those cookie-cutter chain hotels. I mean, when you see a 9.3 rating, you expect something good, but this little gem actually delivers on that promise in ways that caught me off guard.

The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. It’s not fancy in that Instagram-perfect way, but everything feels thoughtfully put together – like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste. The staff remember your name after the first day (honestly, when’s the last time that happened at a hotel?), and they’re the kind of people who’ll sketch out directions on napkins rather than just pointing you toward the tourist traps. I watched the front desk guy spend ten minutes helping an elderly couple figure out the best walking route to avoid hills, and that’s just… well, that’s the kind of place this is.

What really won me over, though, were those little touches that you don’t realize you’re missing until they’re there. The coffee in the lobby is actually decent – not that burnt hotel lobby stuff – and they keep it going pretty much all day. The rooms have this cozy, lived-in quality without feeling tired, if that makes sense. Good lighting for reading (seriously, why don’t more hotels get this right?), and the beds hit that sweet spot between firm and soft. I’m usually pretty sensitive to street noise, but the windows here do their job well. You might catch some early morning activity if you’re a super light sleeper, but nothing that would keep most people awake. The WiFi was solid throughout my stay too, which matters more than it probably should these days. One small thing – the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times, but honestly, I found myself taking the stairs half the time anyway. Sometimes the simple approach just works better, you know?

  The apartment is large and spacious, with plenty of room in the bathroom. A delicious breakfast will be waiting for you on site. There’s a lack of power outlets, but otherwise the apartment is wonderful, and the host is welcoming.

  Big, clean and well equipped apartment on the 4th floor of the residental building ( building with the lift ), with 2 balconies. Near stadium and shops. Enough choices of food for breakfast. 20 minutes walk from the old town.

  I recently stayed at Laura Home in Verona, and it exceeded all my expectations! The apartment was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. Overall, this apartment was the perfect base for exploring the enchanting city of Verona. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting and would definitely stay here again!

  We liked everything about this apartment, the host was fantastic, very welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were outstanding, very clean, I would give this apartment 10 stars if I could. Breakfast was great, a really good selection with food to suit everyone.
