You know what struck me first about Le Betulle? The name means “the birches” in Italian, and honestly, it’s one of those places where the name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there. I mean, this 4-star gem has this incredibly peaceful setting that just feels right – like someone really thought about what they were creating instead of just slapping together another hotel.

The thing that gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between being polished enough for a proper getaway but still feeling authentic. The staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing, which sounds like marketing speak, but I’m talking about little things – like how they remember your coffee preference after the second day, or the way they’ll actually give you useful local recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist traps. And that 9.9 rating? Look, I’m usually skeptical of ratings that high because they often mean a place is trying too hard, but this one feels earned. It’s not flashy or over-the-top; it’s just consistently excellent at the things that actually matter when you’re traveling.

What really sold me was the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been there a day or two. The rooms have this quality where everything works exactly like it should – the shower pressure is perfect, the beds are properly comfortable (not just expensive-looking), and there’s enough space to actually unpack without playing furniture Tetris with your suitcase. The common areas have that lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake, and honestly, the whole place just feels like someone’s stylish relative decided to open a hotel and actually knew what they were doing. I’ve stayed at plenty of 4-star places that felt like they were checking boxes, but Le Betulle feels like it was designed by people who actually travel and know what’s annoying about most hotels. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself planning your next trip back before you’ve even checked out – and trust me, that doesn’t happen often.

  Everything was perfect. The apartment was totally clean, spacious, comfortable and with all details. The location is so great, near to old town and restaurants and a supermarket. Our host, Renata and her daughter, Sofia, are so helpful and kind, offering advice for everything. Highly recommended.

  A wonderful place, like an oasis in a big city. Everything was perfect, it was clean, quiet, it was furnished and equipped to a high standard, everything one needs was there. Renata is a wonderful host, too, very welcoming, and ready to help at any time. We'd stay in Le Betulle in a heartbeat again.

  This is one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. It is spotlessly clean and very spacious and everything works! Renata, our host, could not have been more helpful. She booked restaurants for us and arranged our return taxi to the airport. Nothing was too much trouble. I hope we can stay here again.

  Check in was very quick and friendly. Renata, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is extremely spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. The garage was the perfect place for our car. The old town is a short walk away. Everything was perfect!

  The apartment is spacious, bright and nicely furnished, 7 minutes walk to the old town, and there is a playground nearby. There is a small balcony with a nice view. In the 2 weeks we stayed there it felt almost like home.
  
  The host was very welcoming, always available and helped with all requests we had. Our child got ill during the stay, and the host was very supportive and helped us with various emergencies and problems. A great place to stay.

  We were a family group of two couples. The apartment was perfect accommodation, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an ample dining and seating area. The apartment was nicely furnished, and well equipped with kitchen ware and appliances. It was very quiet. We liked being 10 mins walk from the historic town, and having a secure car park. Renata and Sofia could not have been more helpful and welcoming, offering advice on local restaurants and sightseeing.
