Memento Vivere Overview

You know what struck me first about Memento Vivere? The name itself – “remember to live” in Latin – and honestly, it sets the tone perfectly for what this place is actually about. It’s one of those 3-star hotels that punches way above its weight class, and I mean that in the best possible way. The 8.6 rating isn’t just some inflated number either; you can feel it the moment you walk through the doors.

I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t going to be your typical cookie-cutter hotel experience. The lobby has this warm, lived-in quality that feels more like stepping into someone’s thoughtfully curated home than a commercial space. There’s something about the lighting (maybe it’s those vintage-style fixtures?) that makes everything feel softer, more welcoming. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which is rarer than it should be these days. Check-in was smooth, no weird holdups or deposit surprises, and they were pretty upfront about everything from the start.

The rooms themselves are where Memento Vivere really shines, though. Nothing flashy or over-the-top, but everything works exactly as it should – and I mean everything. Hot water hits immediately, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and the beds are genuinely comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”). What I loved most were the little touches that show someone actually thought about how real people use hotel rooms – proper lighting for reading, enough outlets in useful places, and blackout curtains that actually block out light. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, with decent water pressure and those small toiletries that don’t smell like industrial cleaner. One thing worth mentioning: the walls are surprisingly well-insulated, so you won’t be lying awake listening to your neighbors’ late-night TV habits or early morning phone calls. Parking was straightforward too – no circling the block or paying through the nose for the privilege of leaving your car somewhere safe. Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that cost twice as much and delivered half the experience. Memento Vivere gets the fundamentals right and then adds just enough personality to make it memorable without being gimmicky. It’s the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back at the end of a long day, rather than just tolerating it as somewhere to crash. If you’re looking for a hotel that feels genuine and actually cares about your experience – not just your credit card – this is worth serious consideration.

    Väga hea asukoht,

  • Clara from Brazil – 11 December 2024 (8/10)

Apartamento muito novinho, com vários equipamentos, roupa de cama boa e localização ótima

What could be improved: Sofá cama é desconfortável e o chuveiro após duas pessoas lavarem o cabelo ficou com água fria e as outras pessoas tiveram que tomar banho gelado..

  • Ivana from Serbia – 21 November 2024 (8/10)

Location is excellent. Center of the old city is just few minutes away. There are few resturants just next door. Few garages are also really near. Apartment is cosy and warm.

What could be improved: Bads could be a bit more comfortable.
There is a slight odor in one of the wardrobes.

  • Eozol from United States – 16 October 2024 (9/10)

Good location away from the tourist areas but close enough to reach by walking. The apartment was clean and spacious for two couples traveling together

What could be improved: Entry to the unit was set up to be done remotely. While instructions were provided via e-mail, I was having issues with logging into my email account so was able to call a number that was listed on the printout of my reservation. The person that answered was a bit miffed that I called for instructions expecting me to do this using the instructions that were emailed to me but I couldn't access.

  • Silva from Mexico – 9 October 2024 (9/10)

Muy bien ubicado con excelente opinión de movilidad

What could be improved: Difícilmente se me ocurre algo q no me guste fue increíble y cómodo viaje con mis tías y mi hija y nadie pudo decir algo negativo

  • Judith from Spain – 17 September 2024 (9/10)

  • Patricia from Switzerland – 17 September 2024 (9/10)

Super emplacement pleins de bon restaurant à proximité pour déjeuner souper et visiter la ville.

  • Marina from Spain – 15 August 2024 (7/10)

Good location , apartment is relatively small but if you use it only to sleep it’s ok.

What could be improved: No air conditioner, just ventilation with pre- installed temperature level which you cannot change . With 35 degrees outside we had 29 inside 😡
Strange system of preliminary registration. Without this registration- no instructions for the keys. Very rude representative of the company whom I asked to explain the demands of registration.
But later we spoke with other person , helpful and polite ( we didn’t have hot water ) and the problem was solved immediately

  • Shamima from United Kingdom – 31 July 2024 (8/10)

I liked the cleanliness of the apartment and the size was good for three adults. The modern decor with the wooden beams added to the charm.
There was a problem with the door which the owner did promptly attend to.
It was in a good location with the arena just being a 5 minute walk away and all essentials just being a stone throws away.

It thoroughly added to my great experience of Verona.
