Nino Bixio Apartment Overview
First Impressions
The Nino Bixio Apartment sits on one of Verona’s most elegant tree-lined boulevards, and honestly, the address alone tells you you’re in for something special. This four-star property occupies a beautiful spot in Borgo Trento — which, if you know Verona at all, is basically the neighborhood where locals actually want to live. The building has that understated Italian elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist accommodation,” and I mean that in the best possible way.
The Borgo Trento Advantage
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You’re in this residential area that feels authentically Veronese, but you can still walk to the historic center in about fifteen minutes. Borgo Trento is where you’ll find proper neighborhood cafés where the barista remembers your order, and little family-run shops that have been around for decades. The tree-lined streets are perfect for evening strolls, and there’s something really satisfying about coming “home” to a quiet residential street after a day of sightseeing. Couples absolutely love this area — and with a 9.3 location rating from pairs, it’s clear I’m not the only one who thinks this neighborhood hits the sweet spot.
The Space Itself
The apartment feels more like staying in a well-appointed Italian home than a typical hotel room. The layout is thoughtfully designed with separate living areas, and the kitchen is actually functional — not just a token kitchenette with a mini-fridge. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the furnishings; everything feels curated rather than just ordered from a hotel supply catalog. The windows are generous, letting in that gorgeous Italian light, and the whole space has this calm, residential vibe that makes you want to linger over morning coffee.
Practical Perks
What really works here is how effortlessly everything functions. The parking situation is sorted (which, if you’ve ever tried to park in central Verona, you’ll know is worth its weight in gold), and the building is well-maintained without being fussy. The neighborhood has excellent public transport connections, but honestly, you’ll probably find yourself walking everywhere because the streets are so pleasant. There’s a good supermarket nearby, plus those essential Italian amenities — a proper gelateria and a wine shop where the owner actually knows what they’re talking about.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.2 overall rating really reflects what you experience here — it’s that rare combination of authentic location, thoughtful accommodation, and genuine value. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or over-the-top amenities; you’re paying for a genuinely comfortable base in one of Verona’s most desirable neighborhoods. The fact that it consistently scores so highly with couples makes perfect sense — there’s something inherently romantic about having your own little Italian apartment on a beautiful boulevard, complete with the freedom to pop out for fresh bread in the morning or a bottle of local wine in the evening. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in Verona rather than just visiting it.

Reviews of Nino Bixio Apartment
Dorin from Moldova – 8 March 2025 (9/10)
Newly built or refurbished apartment, not big but quite roomy for three people, well lit, warm and cozy. Has all needed amenities, no pretentions.
What could be improved: A bit nosy in the mornings from the street just by, although birds chanting in the mornings beat that. Lack of a toaster in the kitchen perhaps could also be considered, as well as some bigger tea cups.Antonio from Italy – 2 March 2025 (9/10)
Appartamento ottimo , molto accogliente . Posizione ottimale per spostarsi a piedi.

Praticamente tutto
What could be improved: Il check-in, ho chiesto di essere lì un po’ prima ma mi hanno dato un po’ di limitazioni, non ero lì per svago ma per altro, quindi da gestire meglio l’ingresso in struttura, per il resto niente che non andasseVincenzo from Italy – 3 February 2025 (9/10)
La posizione. La zona. L arredamento moderno e funzionale. Le dimensioni dell' appartamento
What could be improved: La rumorosità di via Mameli. Il checkout troppo mattiniero.Neftali from Spain – 14 December 2024 (10/10)
Great sized apartment, with balcony. Very good value for money. Accommodating hosts. Quiet.

The apartment is organised, it was clean and looked new. The AC works well for summer days.
What could be improved: The kitchen isn't well equipped. Very basic stuff is missing. By the arrival I texted the host to let him know we have arrived and we didn't get any answer for a very long time, I decided to call and he told us that he could not go to the place to let us in because he had a problem in another apartment, instead he sent instructions that wasn't very clear and ignored my questions to where exactly find the locker with the key, we had to guess where to find it in order get in while it was extremely hot outside, I texted the host again to tell we were inside and again no answer or whatsoever. In the check out I informed that we were leaving and ask information about the check out but again, no answer.Leon from United Kingdom – 1 September 2024 (10/10)
