Palazzo Cerù Bed and Breakfast Overview
You know what struck me first about Palazzo Cerù Bed and Breakfast? It’s one of those places that actually feels like staying at someone’s carefully curated home rather than just another generic accommodation. The moment you walk through the entrance, there’s this immediate sense that whoever runs this place genuinely cares about the details – I’m talking about the kind of attention you notice in the way the morning light hits the breakfast table or how they’ve arranged books on the shelves like someone actually reads them.
What really sets this place apart is the breakfast situation – and I mean that in the best possible way. Forget those sad hotel buffets with lukewarm scrambled eggs. Here, you’re getting something that feels more like what a well-traveled Italian grandmother might prepare if she happened to have impeccable taste in presentation. The hosts (and honestly, calling them “staff” feels wrong) seem to know exactly when you prefer your coffee strong versus mild, and they’ll remember whether you mentioned being vegetarian the day before. It’s that kind of place where small conversations over breakfast become genuine recommendations for hidden spots you’d never find in guidebooks. The rooms themselves have this lived-in elegance – not stuffy or overly formal, but thoughtfully put together with pieces that look like they were collected over time rather than ordered from a hotel supply catalog.
The 9.0 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there a day or two. It’s not trying to be everything to everyone, which is actually refreshing. You won’t find a gym or a business center, but you will find those little touches that matter when you’re actually trying to experience a place rather than just pass through it. The walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway, and honestly, the bed situation is spot-on – firm enough that you’re not sinking into oblivion but comfortable enough that you might find yourself lingering longer than planned in the mornings. I’d definitely recommend this for travelers who appreciate when someone’s put real thought into creating a space rather than just filling rooms with standard-issue furniture. It’s the kind of place where you end up chatting with other guests because everyone seems to be in a genuinely good mood, probably because they’re all discovering those same thoughtful details that make you feel like you stumbled onto something special rather than just booking another night’s sleep.

very polite service, great contact. Parking space a bit further from the hotel, but it didn't bother us. Delicious Italian breakfast. We could leave suitcases a bit longer and visit the city longer.
What could be improved: Smell from the bathroom and unfortunately cold water..Joy from Czech Republic – 14 February 2025 (9/10)

This bnb was perfect for our family of 4, two teens (17+19) who don’t mind sharing a sofa bed. The room and bathroom were spacious, the location central and the staff were kind and accomodating.

We recently stayed at Palazzo Ceru Bed and Breakfast in Verona, and it was an absolutely delightful experience.
The location is ideal, situated in the heart of Verona with easy access to major attractions like the Verona Arena, Juliet's Balcony and all restaurants and shops.
The room was warm, very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. We really appreciated the seamless luggage service—they stored our bags both before check-in and after check-out, allowing us to explore the city without worry.
The breakfast was simple and delicious. It was the perfect way to start the day without being overwhelming. The cozy dining area added to the charm.
Evelyn was always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, or any special requests.
I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Verona.
We will definitely return on our next visit!Clare from United Kingdom – 26 October 2024 (8/10)
Great location for many of Verona’s finest restaurants and buildings. The owner Evelyn was very friendly and suggested plenty of local sites and restaurants to explore and eat at. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Ideal family room for two older children and parents. The breakfast was tasty and varied.
