What really got me was how the staff seemed genuinely interested in making sure I had a good time in their city, not just checking boxes on some corporate service manual. They’d casually mention which osteria down the street serves the best risotto (and they were absolutely right, by the way), or suggest the perfect time to hit the main sights before the tour buses arrive.

The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing revolutionary, but everything works properly, which honestly is more than I can say for some places I’ve paid twice as much for. Good water pressure, reliable WiFi, and those little touches that show someone’s actually paying attention to the guest experience. I loved that you could open the windows and actually get fresh air instead of being trapped in some sealed hotel bubble. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there because it’s not about having the fanciest lobby or the most Instagram-worthy breakfast spread – it’s about doing the fundamentals really, really well. Plus, and this might sound trivial but it’s not, the check-in process was refreshingly smooth. No endless forms or upselling attempts, just “welcome, here’s your key, let us know if you need anything.” Sometimes that’s exactly what you want after a long day of travel.

  These apartments come highly recommended for their excellent qualities. They offer the best location and ensure a pleasant stay for guests. Conveniently situated just 10 minutes away from the railway station, they are easily accessible. Moreover, the owner, Mr. Marco, is known for his extreme friendliness and hospitality, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The feeling of being at home in these apartments is truly heartwarming.

  Cozy apartment in nice neighborhood. Located next to stadium and walking distance from bus/train station and city center. Supermarket is few minutes walk as well as few good pubs.
  Amazing owners, communication went smooth starting from the check-in/key handover, very friendly and happy to help.
  There is very informative and up to date booklet with local tips on food, events, transportation, etc.
  Will definitely consider this accomodation first for my next Verona trip.

  Marco was so kind to accommodate our very late arrival, and even picked up from the train station.
  
  What could be improved: While it’s not in the old part of town, that means more walking to the sights. But it’s so convenient to the train station so it was easy to be able to walk there when we left.

  Marco was very friendly and wanted to do is best to suit us. We even had fresh bottles of water in the fridge.
  We had a problem with our car and he helped us to find a garage.

  The location is amazing, not far from the centre of Verona. Everything is within walking distance and there are many places where you can eat in the area. The host was wonderful and gave us many tips on what to see in the area.
  
  What could be improved: There is no AC, only a ceiling fan. Do at night it got pretty hot, but it was managable.
