I was expecting just another tourist-packed place near the cathedral, but this spot actually feels like you’re staying in someone’s beautifully renovated apartment rather than a typical hotel. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of being somewhere real – not that sterile hotel lobby feeling you get at most places.

What really makes this 4-star residence special is how it manages to give you space to breathe. The rooms have these lovely high ceilings and actual kitchenettes that aren’t just for show – I mean, you can legitimately cook a meal if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The design hits that sweet spot between modern comfort and respecting the building’s character, which honestly isn’t easy to pull off in these historic Italian cities. And with an 8.9 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who’s noticed they’re doing something right here.

The location is pretty brilliant when you think about it – you’re close enough to all the major sights that you can stumble back after a long day of wandering, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague some areas. I found myself actually looking forward to coming back each evening, which doesn’t always happen when you’re traveling. The staff has this relaxed professionalism about them too – they’ll sort you out with recommendations or help with whatever you need, but they’re not hovering or being overly formal about it. Plus, there’s something to be said for having a proper base where you can spread out your stuff and not live out of a suitcase for a few days. If you’re the type who likes a bit of independence with your comfort, this place gets it right.

  Bellissimo appartamento, posizione eccezionale, a due passi dal Duomo, ambiente curato e pulito, molto accogliente, consigliatissimo a chi prevede di soggiornare più giorni.

  Good location in the ancient part of Verona. No parking allowed within 500 m for non residents.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is dark, it does not get sunlight. We hired for 2 bedrooms but one bedroom was actually a blind TV room with a sofa, turned into a bed and the only way to reach the bedroom was to cross the TV room.
  The only bedroom is noisy because the window is on the street.
