Residenza Borgo Trento SUNDAY Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Residenza Borgo Trento SUNDAY? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard, which honestly makes it more charming than half the flashier hotels I’ve stayed at. The name might sound a bit quirky with that “SUNDAY” tacked on – I mean, I still don’t know the story behind it – but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about this 3-star spot that won me over pretty quickly.

The whole vibe here is sort of like staying at a well-kept family place rather than some corporate chain. When I walked in, the lobby had this lived-in feel that actually made me relax instead of feeling like I had to be on my best behavior. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure I was settled in properly, not just going through the motions. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities or marble everything, but honestly? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The rooms are clean and comfortable – the kind of place where you can actually spread out your stuff without worrying about messing up some pristine display.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed, even when the place seemed pretty full. You know how some hotels have those paper-thin walls where you hear every conversation and suitcase wheel rolling by? Not an issue here. I actually got proper sleep, which is saying something because I’m usually pretty sensitive to noise when I travel. The 7.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it delivers solidly on the basics that actually matter when you’re traveling. The shower had good water pressure (thank god), the Wi-Fi worked without constantly dropping out, and check-in was straightforward without any weird surprises or hidden fees. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially since it feels like the kind of place where the staff might actually remember you if you become a regular.

Reviews of Residenza Borgo Trento SUNDAY

  • Faye from United Kingdom – 12 October 2024 (8/10)

Lovely room and communal areas. 15-20 minute walk from main Verona. Good transport connections. Communicate with staff prior to arrival if you’d like to check-in early.

What could be improved: Unable to leave luggage anywhere.

  • Tenille from Australia – 5 September 2024 (9/10)

Staff so helpful and great communication. Clean property. Walking distance to town. Thank you! Was perfect for my short stay in Verona

  • Nahal from United Kingdom – 31 August 2024 (9/10)

    Clean, easy access, good communication.

    What could be improved: N/a

  • Karenp91 from Ireland – 4 August 2024 (7/10)

Location was easily accessible by tram. Had a fridge and freezer in the common area. Had Air Con.

What could be improved: The room was a little dirty in areas, and shampoo was broken, so I had to go purchase some. No safe bag storage as such. Had to be left in a communal area with open access. However, guests had done it… more of a preference.

  • Thaisa from Ireland – 27 June 2024 (8/10)

The staff were very helpful, the room and bathroom clean, good location. For the price was perfect.

What could be improved: Can’t say anything I didn’t like

  • Patricia from United Kingdom – 15 June 2024 (8/10)

Clean and comfortable room. Very near the bus stop and only 20min walk to the center of Verona. Easy to check in and out. Everything was up to expectations, we were quite happy with our experience. Nice and friendly staff.

What could be improved: The walls are very thin so you can hear other guests, but we did not have a bad experience since everyone was quiet during the night/late hours. The apartment door is quite difficult to open with the keys, we got it sometimes but sometimes no matter how much we tried it wouldn't open, however there is a quick alternative to open the door with your phone.

  • Sarah from France – 20 May 2024 (9/10)

It was clean, wide and the host was very welcoming. There was a double bed which was very confortable, the bathroom provided a hairdryer which was Nice since it was very rainy during my stay

What could be improved: The walls are very thin and there are other rooms rented next so I could hear the conversations of other people around my room but it didn't burden me during the night. It was a bit hard to find but I asked around and found it

  • Rosa from Venezuela – 14 October 2023 (9/10)

Was really comfortable, the host super kind and the place was really clean.

What could be improved: Nothing, I liked everything. A little bit far

  • Joan from Ireland – 13 August 2023 (9/10)

The accommodation was beautiful and everything you need.

What could be improved: I would have liked to be nearer Central Verona, but the walk was beautiful but then it was very warm when I was there so maybe if it was not as hot I'd have taken no notice. Lovely cafe at the back of property

  • Paredes from Mexico – 18 May 2023 (9/10)

cleanliness, easy to access and comfortable

What could be improved: a bit far from center
