RiverView Luxury flat Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to RiverView Luxury flat on Via Isonzo, you immediately get why this four-star property has such an incredible location score. I mean, Borgo Trento is honestly one of those neighborhoods that feels like you’ve discovered Verona’s best-kept secret — residential enough to feel authentic, but close enough to everything that matters. The building itself has that understated Italian elegance you hope for, nothing flashy, just solid and welcoming in a way that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere locals would actually choose.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this area — you’re in Verona proper, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos that hits the city center. Borgo Trento has this perfect balance where you can walk to a genuine Italian café for morning coffee (the kind where they know regulars by name), but you’re still just a short trip from Juliet’s balcony and all that. The Adige River is right there, which explains the name, and honestly, those riverside walks became my favorite part of each day. You know what’s really nice? The location score of 9.9 isn’t just marketing speak — couples genuinely rave about this spot because it feels romantic without being touristy.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup works brilliantly, especially if you’re traveling as a couple and want more space than a typical hotel room. There’s a proper kitchen that’s actually functional — not one of those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken coffee maker. I found myself picking up fresh ingredients from the local market and cooking simple meals, which added this lovely domestic touch to the trip. The living area flows naturally into the bedroom space, and while it’s not massive, everything feels thoughtfully arranged. The river views (when you can catch them) are a nice bonus, though honestly, the neighborhood views are pretty charming too.
Practical Comforts
What really impressed me was how well everything worked — the Wi-Fi was solid, the heating responded properly, and there’s decent parking nearby, which anyone who’s driven in Italian cities will appreciate. The building is quiet, probably because it’s more residential than hotel-heavy, so you actually sleep well. I also noticed the little touches that show someone cares about the place — good lighting, comfortable seating, and a bathroom that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. It’s the kind of setup where you can actually relax rather than just crash between sightseeing sessions.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.9 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Verona, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually want — comfort, space, and a location that lets you experience the city like a temporary local rather than a tourist passing through. Couples especially seem to get it because there’s something inherently romantic about having your own little Italian apartment, even temporarily. You can make morning coffee together, plan your day without rushing to check out, and come back to a space that feels like yours. It’s that sweet spot between hotel convenience and apartment independence that’s surprisingly hard to find.

What could be improved: After arriving in Venice, I bought a jacket, and when I entered the apartment in Verona, I hung it on a coat hanger so that it would not wrinkle. We left the apartment at 5 in the morning and I packed all my things. hanger. After that, as I remembered, we immediately start calling the owner of the apartment (on the same day, but at 10 in the morning), at first she does not pick up the phone for 2 days, and then claims that nothing was found! I clearly remember where and what jacket I left it, but they decided not to return it to me, but to walk in it themselves) Because if you decide to stay there, know that if you leave something, no one will return anything to you!

Great location, view of the river, easy to access and great communication.
What could be improved: Needed to provide fan for the small bedroom as it was way too hot.Ruth from United Kingdom – 26 June 2024 (9/10)
Excellent location and stunning view of the river!
Easy access into the building with the web link and using my phone. No issues whatsoever.
We arrived late and ordered a justeat delivery to the building.
Two bathrooms, huge living room. Kitchen with lots of storage, lift access to the right floor.
Sofa very comfortable and turns into sofa bed.
Tv with netflix.
Big dining table. Air con was great too as it was very hot.
Would stay again!
Parked outside with two cars. One had to go a little down the street and we paid about 10 euros for 24hrs. I have a blue badge and used this in a disabled space right outside the main entrance for free.
5 minute walk over the bridge to restaurants etc
What could be improved: Nothing 😀Gill from United Kingdom – 2 May 2024 (8/10)
Location good.
Size of apartment
Communication good with host
What could be improved: Specifically asked prior to visit if there was a hairdryer, told yes but none found.
Would benefit from a folder or information about sights , bus /taxi info.
Good restaurants . Etc
Extra blankets as one of our party was cold , only found one eiderdown /cover ,also no extra pillows availableIan from United Kingdom – 9 February 2024 (9/10)
Wonderful truly luxurious appartment, elegant, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. The location felt very safe. The river views were stunning. There were several nice cafés and a good supermarket nearby. We hope to return when visiting Verona in the future.
What could be improved: Everything was wonderful. Just a thing to keep in mind, if taking the lift to go upstairs: the lift cabin is a little compact. I would say, it’s fine for 3-4 people with a suitcase, but more would be a bit tight. However, it’s the most elegant, well designed and secure building.Bruce from Netherlands – 24 January 2024 (9/10)
This is a great place to stay for families, friends and even colleagues, like us. The apartment has several rooms with one or two person beds and they offer plenty of privacy. It has two bathrooms and they were clean and spacious enough. With 4 colleagues, we had enough time to store our stuff, work in the apartment and enjoy the amazing view! If you cross the bridge, you're in the centre in less than 15 minutes.
The host was amazing because we booked for 3 instead of 4 people and they came to bring extra bed linnen, blankets and towels immediately. The system to open the building and apartment door runs smoothly and there is an elevator if you have to carry heavy bags.Mikela from United Kingdom – 25 October 2023 (9/10)
We loved the view from the balcony and the comfortable living room and bedrooms.
What could be improved: Not applicableLeila from United States – 18 September 2023 (9/10)
The flat was large and clean and well decorated. We did have a nice view of the town and river. Hosts were very responsive. It was close to the city center and close to a supermarket.
What could be improved: The 2 big bedrooms were nice and had A/C. It wasn’t as great for our friend in the small room without A/C.
It would have made it extra nice to have some coffee for the moka pot provided.Carlota from United States – 15 June 2023 (9/10)
There is a supermarket close to the house. The apartment was at 2 mins from the center. Excellent location. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable.
