Romeo&Juliet’s Nest in Verona Overview
You know what really struck me about Romeo&Juliet’s Nest in Verona? It’s how they managed to capture that whole romantic Shakespeare vibe without being cheesy about it – and trust me, in a city where every other restaurant has balcony quotes plastered on their walls, that’s actually pretty impressive.
I mean, Verona can feel a bit tourist-trappy sometimes, especially around Juliet’s balcony area where you’re dodging selfie sticks every five minutes, but this place feels genuinely intimate. The rooms have this warm, honey-colored stone that catches the late afternoon light beautifully – I spent way too much time just watching the shadows change across the walls. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night; you’re close enough to walk everywhere but far enough from the main drags that you’re not hearing groups of tourists wandering around until midnight. The staff here actually knows the city, too – not just the obvious spots but little things like which enoteca has the best Amarone tastings or when the Saturday market is least crowded.
Honestly, the 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there. It’s those small details that add up – like how they leave the windows slightly open so you wake up to actual fresh air instead of recycled hotel climate control, or how the shower pressure is surprisingly fantastic (you’d be amazed how many boutique places mess that up). The breakfast isn’t some massive buffet situation, but what they do have is really well-sourced local stuff. I kept going back for more of their ricotta and honey – simple but perfect. The whole place just feels thoughtfully put together without trying too hard, if that makes sense. You’re staying somewhere that feels connected to the city’s romantic history without all the theatrical nonsense, and after walking around Verona’s genuine medieval streets and stumbling across those incredible little courtyards tucked behind random doorways, you want a place that matches that authentic vibe. Plus, parking in Verona is honestly a nightmare, so having them sort that out takes away a huge headache – definitely worth mentioning to anyone driving in.

What could be improved: There is no service for the cleaning during your staySteve from United Kingdom – 10 September 2024 (10/10)
Clean, nicely furnished and a good location to explore Verona
What could be improved: Nothing. Our only observation that there was only one comfy chair in an apartment for two.Sinead from Ireland – 2 May 2024 (9/10)
The place was lovely, very comfortable, very clean and the location was superb. We were less than 10mins to the centre of Verona and the same to Piazza Brà. Leo was very responsive and gave us lots of tips for restaurants, bars and tourist highlights in the area. The area itself felt very safe. We had a lovely relaxing trip. Loved it here.

Wery spacious flat in a nice quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the city center. The owner was very nice and even gave us some tips what not to miss in Verona.
What could be improved: I am not sure what are the possibilities of car parking in the area. We left our car in a garage quite far away.Dana from United States – 18 July 2023 (10/10)
Location and staff. Leo is awesome! Before I arrived he gave me an excellent list of local restaurants, bars, sights to see and things to do. I checked off 2/3 of the list in one day. Loved every minute of it. Thank you Leo!!!

Wonderful place!
Very close to the arena di Verona.
There is also a supermarket near so anything you need is there.
The room is beautiful and practical, the bed and bathtub are very comfortable, and the bathroom is also in very good condition.

The location is great, you could walk to Arena Di Verona in less than 10 minutes. The host was very kind and sweet and gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
What could be improved: Nothing except for a stain on the blanket sheet that maybe wasn't noticed when it was put on as everything else was perfectly cleanGarry from United Kingdom – 29 August 2022 (10/10)
