San Leonardo Suites Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into San Leonardo Suites, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another mid-range hotel from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you, and this four-star gem absolutely did that. The lobby has this warm, understated elegance that immediately tells you someone actually thought about the design here, not just slapped together whatever looked “hotel-ish.”
What really got me was the attention to detail in the suites themselves – and I mean actual suites, not those tiny rooms some places try to pass off with fancy names. The living areas feel genuinely separate from the sleeping space, which is clutch if you’re traveling for business or just need somewhere to spread out after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchenettes are actually functional too (I’ve stayed in places where they give you a mini-fridge and call it a kitchen). Honestly, the whole setup made me feel like I was staying in a well-appointed apartment rather than just passing through another generic hotel room. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout – I know that sounds boring, but try working from a dead zone and you’ll appreciate reliable internet as much as I do.
Here’s the thing that really sealed it for me though – the staff genuinely seems to give a damn. Check-in was smooth, but more than that, they actually listened when I mentioned I was an early riser and needed somewhere quiet. Got moved to a corner suite away from the elevator noise without even having to ask twice. That kind of service doesn’t happen by accident – it’s the difference between a place that just wants to fill rooms and one that wants you to actually enjoy your stay. The 9.0 rating this place pulls makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in town, but it nails all the fundamentals while adding those little touches that make you remember why you chose to stay here instead of booking the cheapest option you could find online. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a pit stop, this is definitely worth considering.
Best hotels in Verona range from luxurious properties in the historic city center to boutique hotels with stunning views of the Adige River and ancient Roman amphitheater.

Cherise from United Kingdom – 8 October 2024 (9/10)
I actually stayed from 29th Sept and extended to 7th October, first with my sister then later with my husband. The staff were exceptional and the suites were perfect. They went above and beyond and did a very nice presentation for my sisters "Pre birthday" surprise..They actually wrote by hand "Pre" on the balloons..I really appreciated the attention to detail. Their location is in a quiet but easy to get to with just a 10 min walk to centre and you get to walk over the river in the evening when going back and experience the beauty of the lights of Verona..Would definitely recommend ..
