I mean, you’re just a short walk from the Roman Theatre – think ancient stones and evening concerts that echo through the air – or you can cross Ponte Pietra for a gelato at that tiny spot on Via Sottoriva, where the owners chat with you in rapid Italian like you’re family. Parking? Well, it’s Verona, so good luck finding a spot on the street without circling for ages; I ended up using a nearby garage off Via San Nazaro, which wasn’t too pricey, but plan ahead if you’re driving in from Lake Garda or something.

What really got me about this place – it’s a 4-star boutique setup, but it doesn’t scream “fancy hotel” at all; more like staying in a friend’s elegantly restored apartment. My room on the top floor (internal 4, up a flight of creaky wooden stairs – no elevator, so pack light if stairs aren’t your thing) had these massive windows overlooking rooftops and a sliver of the river, with morning light filtering in that made the whole space glow. The bed? Oh man, those crisp linens and fluffy pillows – I slept like a rock, even though you can hear faint church bells from San Nazaro ringing at dawn, which is sort of charming if you’re not a light sleeper. Breakfast was a highlight, served in this cozy communal area with fresh croissants, local cheeses, and espresso that actually tastes like Italy should – none of that weak tourist stuff. The staff, led by this warm host named Marco (I think? Or was it Matteo?), were pros at recommending offbeat spots, like hiking up to Castel San Pietro for sunset views without the crowds. Honestly, it’s got that high 9.6 rating for a reason – spotless, thoughtful touches like free bottled water and adapters, but yeah, the Wi-Fi dipped a bit in the evenings when everyone was streaming, nothing major though.

All in all, if you’re heading to Verona and want something authentic, not just another chain hotel, this is it. It’s perfect for couples or solo travelers who appreciate the quieter vibes – especially in shoulder season like April or October, when the streets aren’t packed and you can wander without elbowing through tour groups. I left feeling like I’d uncovered a little secret of the city, you know? Worth every euro, and I’d book again in a heartbeat – just remember to ask for a room with a view if you can.

  location con vista superba su Verona, appartamento NUOVISSIMO, sia la struttura che l'arredamento,cucina con elettrodomestici di alta fascia BOSCH, parcheggio comodo, in 5 minuti a piedi di raggiunge il lungo Adige. proprietario cortese, molto serio e disponibile ( Consigli preziosi)

  L'appartamento è nuovo, pulito e confortevole, con soli 15 minuti a piedi si arriva in centro.
  Abbiamo trovato bottiglie di acqua, caffè e tisane.
  Parcheggio privato dentro la struttura.
  Host super gentili e disponibilissimi.
