Truly Verona Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Truly Verona, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in the heart of Verona. This four-star property sits right in the Città Antica — I mean, you literally can’t get more central than this. The moment you step through the doors, there’s this understated elegance that feels authentically Italian rather than trying too hard to impress tourists. The hotel welcomes you with warm, inviting interiors that set the tone for an exceptional stay.
Location That Actually Matters
Honestly, the location here is pretty incredible — couples especially seem to get this, rating it 9.6 for romantic getaways. You’re walking distance from Juliet’s balcony, the Arena, and those winding cobblestone streets that make Verona so enchanting. What I really appreciate is that you can duck out for an evening passeggiata and be back in minutes, or grab morning coffee at one of those tiny local bars that locals actually frequent. The Città Antica neighborhood has this authentic buzz that you just don’t find in more touristy areas. Every corner reveals another layer of the city’s rich history and charm.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this perfect balance — modern comfort without losing that Italian character you’re hoping for. The design feels thoughtful, you know? Clean lines, quality furnishings, and those little touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The windows open onto the historic streets below, and there’s something magical about falling asleep to the gentle sounds of evening conversations drifting up from the piazzas. Each detail has been carefully considered to enhance your comfort and connection to the city.
What Sets It Apart
What really struck me about Truly Verona is how it manages to feel both intimate and professional. The staff genuinely knows the city — not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to find the best aperitivo or which gelateria the locals prefer. It’s that kind of insider knowledge that transforms a good trip into something memorable. The property itself has this warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger in the common areas rather than rushing off to the next sight. This dedication to personalized service truly distinguishes the hotel from its competitors.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.1 rating, guests clearly appreciate what this place offers — and after staying here, I totally get it. It’s the combination of that unbeatable location (seriously, 9.6 for location speaks volumes) and the genuine hospitality that makes the difference. You’re not just staying in Verona; you’re actually experiencing it from the best possible vantage point. Whether you’re here for romance, history, or just to soak up that quintessential Italian atmosphere, Truly Verona delivers without the pretense you sometimes find at other central properties. The hotel represents an ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking authenticity and excellence.

Amazing and big apartment in the heart of Verona. View to the Arena is breathtaking! No parking allowed around, but the public garage is not so far, as well as grocery store.
Close to all must see places in Verona. Great wine bar and shop with fresh lokal bread, cheese and meat across the street (you can see it from the window).
Helpful management and easy self check-in.
The only minus is the loud Cuban bar downstairs. They are trying to turn down the level of the music after 11 pm, but it doesn’t seem working.

Lovely apartment in Verona.
Great aircon as it was very hot when we were there
Comfy beds
Nice lounge area
Able to get Netflix!
What could be improved: Light in the hallway came on automatically. It is a good idea but actually was annoying if one of you was asleep. (That is a nitpick!)
