There’s something genuinely different about how they’ve set everything up here, and I mean that in the best way possible. The space feels more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s apartment than your typical hotel room, with these thoughtful little touches that you don’t usually see in three-star places. The lighting is actually decent (thank god, because hotel lighting is usually terrible), and they’ve got this mix of modern fixtures with some vintage pieces that somehow works without feeling forced.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night – I’m someone who usually travels with earplugs because city hotels can be brutal, but I honestly didn’t need them here. The walls must be thicker than average, or maybe they just got lucky with the location, but either way, I slept better than I have in months. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward hovering around the front desk while they figure out their computer system. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing, and there’s this relaxed efficiency that makes you feel like you’re in good hands without being fussed over.

You know what really sets this place apart though? It’s the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The bathroom has proper water pressure (I cannot stress how rare this is), there are enough outlets near the bed for all your devices, and they’ve got blackout curtains that actually block light – not those flimsy hotel curtains that let every street lamp shine through. The kitchen setup is surprisingly well-equipped if you’re planning to do any cooking, with decent knives and actual plates instead of those paper-thin hotel dishes. I found myself making coffee in the morning instead of hunting down a café, which saved time and honestly tasted better than most hotel lobby coffee anyway. With a 9.0 rating, I can see why people keep coming back here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails the fundamentals in a way that makes your stay genuinely comfortable rather than just tolerable.

Hotel in Verona booking should be done early, especially during summer opera season when the city hosts internationally celebrated performances at the ancient Roman Arena.

  This apartment is in a fantastic location. Approximately 20 minute walking to the centre, but some local restaurants and cafe's also. The area itself is very quiet. Francessco is a fantastic host, easy communication via WhatsApp and was super responsive almost at any time.
  
  What could be improved: A coffee machine would be a nice addition – but it's Italy, there's great coffee everywhere. I couldn't think of anything else negative to say!!
