Valverde 32 Overview
You know what surprised me most about Valverde 32? For a three-star place, it punches way above its weight – and I mean that in the best possible way. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting much when I first booked it, but sometimes those lower expectations lead to the most pleasant surprises. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. The lobby isn’t trying to be fancy or intimidating – it just feels… right, you know? Like someone’s well-designed home rather than a corporate hotel chain.
What really got me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff about the area. I mean, not just the touristy recommendations you get everywhere, but actual local insights. The woman at the front desk – I think her name was Sofia – she told me about this little café around the corner that I never would have found otherwise, and honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. That’s the kind of thing you remember long after you’ve forgotten what the bathroom tiles looked like. Speaking of which, the rooms are clean and comfortable without being flashy. The beds are actually good – not those rock-hard mattresses some European hotels seem to love – and the shower has proper water pressure, which is more than I can say for some four-star places I’ve stayed at.
I think what really sets this place apart is that 9.0 rating, and after staying there, I totally get it. It’s not about having the most amenities or the biggest rooms – it’s about doing the fundamentals really well and adding those little touches that show they’re paying attention. The WiFi actually works (shocking, I know), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and checkout was refreshingly simple. I also noticed they seem to attract a good mix of travelers – not just business people in suits or party groups, but genuine explorers who did their research. There’s something to be said for a place that draws people who care about where they’re staying. Would I go back? Absolutely. Sometimes you find these gems that remind you why traveling can be such a joy when you’re not dealing with the usual hotel nonsense.

Reviews of Valverde 32
Hannah from United States – 13 September 2024 (9/10)
Staff was very responsive and helpful with lots of recommendations. If you have a car, you can park in their covered, secure garage for 10 Euros a day. (That was the rate as of Sept 2024) They will show you where the garage is, but it's very close. The room we had was spacious and the bed was comfortable – we prefer slightly softer beds and this one was softer, so it was great. (Other European places we've stayed, the beds feel extra firm) The AC worked great and you have complete control of it for your room. Very clean. We would definitely stay here again. Only reason this is a 9 not a 10 is because I rate 10's for places that blow me away. This was a great stay and like I said, we'd happily stay again!!
Location is close to train station and not too far from main attractions. Definitely get gelato at Gelateria La Romana, it's very close and amazing. For breakfast pastries, we liked Pasticceria Barini, also close by and on the way to the historic town center. Try amarone wine too…a regional and delicious red wine.Natalia from Luxembourg – 5 August 2024 (8/10)
Clean room and bed linen, proximity to the city center and to the train station
What could be improved: All towels had some stains. Window isolation could be improved as you can hear during the night the cars passing by and talk of people outsidePaige from United States – 20 June 2024 (9/10)
Rooms were cute, neat, and clean. It was a short walk to the town center – perfect for our sight seeing trip.

Perfect location, everything was a walk away.
Host was always a message away and offered good tips on places to see and eat and drink.
Can't fault anything.Nicole from Netherlands – 23 July 2023 (9/10)
Perfect location close to the city centre of Verona, about two hundred meters walk. Room was having good working airco, low noise and small refrigerator was very welcome. Beds are short for long persons (>195 cm), but for two nights fine. And Astrid did inform good locations for breakfast, lunch and diner in the evening (many thanks !)
What could be improved: Nothing, was a fine place to stay.Aleksandra from Croatia – 9 January 2023 (9/10)
Nice and clean studio in modern new building 10 min from the arena. Private garage just arround the corner.

Beautiful location close to Arena di Verona and all main attractions.
Astrid was very helpful and despite the fact that she was not present in Verona during our visit she provided us with a lot of useful information regarding the interesting places to visit, dining options etc.Johanna from Ireland – 29 May 2022 (9/10)
The studio is spacious and has everything you need. It is really close to the heart of the city. Astrid has a lot of good recommandations. I would 100% recommend!
