Verona apt.65 Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw Verona apt.65 listed online, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment-style place. But honestly? This turned out to be one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special in Verona. The 9.4 rating isn’t just inflated reviews from friends and family – this place actually delivers on what travelers really want.

What struck me right away was how thoughtfully everything’s been set up. I mean, you walk in and it doesn’t feel like some sterile hotel room where fifty other people slept last month. The apartment has this lived-in warmth that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax, you know? The owner clearly gets that people coming to Verona aren’t just passing through for one night – they want to soak up the atmosphere, maybe cook a simple dinner with ingredients from the local markets, spread out their stuff without living out of a suitcase. The kitchen isn’t just for show either (I’m looking at you, most hotel “kitchenettes” with their sad mini-fridges). You can actually prepare a decent meal here, which honestly saves you from having to eat out every single night – and let’s face it, your wallet will thank you.

The location thing is interesting too, because while it’s not right in the touristy chaos around Juliet’s balcony – which, between you and me, gets pretty overwhelming during peak season – you’re still close enough to walk to the main sights without breaking a sweat. I actually preferred being slightly removed from all that madness. You get the authentic neighborhood feel in the morning when locals are heading to work and the coffee bars are buzzing with actual Veronese rather than tour groups. Plus, parking around the main attractions is basically a nightmare, so being in a more residential area means you’re not circling blocks for an hour looking for a spot. The apartment stays surprisingly quiet too, even with windows open – something I definitely wasn’t expecting in a city center location. I slept better here than I have in some fancy five-star places where you hear every elevator ding and hallway conversation. Sometimes the simple things matter most, and this place nails the basics while adding those personal touches that make a 4-star rating feel earned rather than arbitrary.

Awesome. Perfect location. Perfect 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a tub. Excellent, responsive host. Wish we could have stayed longer!

  • Teresa from Germany – 9 December 2024 (10/10)

This was our second stay at this property. The location is fantastic. Communication with the staff is quick and easy. They were kind enough to recommend some of their favorite places in Verona. This apartment is spacious, clean and well supplied. We appreciate that there is parking nearby.

What could be improved: We have found in our travels that Italian hotel beds are very firm-These are no exception. The bedding is clean and comfortable.

  • Christopher from Germany – 22 November 2024 (10/10)

    99.9999% of the property.

What could be improved: Sound proof windows on street side of property.

  • Teresa from Germany – 3 September 2024 (10/10)

The location is fantastic! The apartment is even better than it shows in the photos. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and very helpful.

What could be improved: There is nothing we disliked about the apartment. There was one surprise. There are two beautiful full bathrooms one with a jacuzzi tub-no shower and one with a shower. We all showered in the same bathroom which was no problem for our group. Just be aware.

  • Haggai from Israel – 6 June 2024 (10/10)

The place is beutiful (even more than it seems in the pictures), spacious, comfortable and very well equiped. Filled with light that comes through the huge windows. Christina and Juliana are very nice and very helpful and the location is just perfect.

  • Yszhr from Denmark – 3 April 2024 (9/10)

Large, comfortable apartment – everything you need catered with high quality. Parking garage and extra bathroom is a bonus!

What could be improved: The master bedroom lacks noise insulation – a bit difficult to sleep with the street noise.

  • Frances from New Zealand – 12 September 2023 (9/10)

We loved the space and the location to everything in Verona. Very well appointed.

What could be improved: We had difficulty with the washing machine and needed help. The door to apartment was difficult to open until we learnt the technique!! The air conditioning was not operating and a portable air conditioner had been installed and fans. We got used to the noise.

  • Liz from United Kingdom – 28 August 2023 (9/10)

Lovely welcome, very accommodating with arrival time and leaving. The apartment had everything we needed.

What could be improved: Air conditioning had broken down, but fans have been installed throughout.
The front bedroom is on a busy road so you can hear traffic but no problem.if your a heavy sleeper.

  • William from United Kingdom – 21 August 2023 (10/10)

We arrived in Verona later than the time we said we would meet the host. However the host met us soon afterwards and we had a short wait outside the property. The apartment is top quality, large and very central. The host could be reached by phone/text/whatsapp when needed. The apartment is on the first floor in a historic building with big windows and balconies in a very central location. One bedroom is at the front and one at the back. We went to see an opera in the Arena during our stay and it is five minutes walk away or less.

  • Margaret-ellen from United States – 21 June 2023 (10/10)

The host was very responsive, the apartment had great amenities and the location was very central
