Verona apt.65 Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Verona apt.65 feels like discovering a secret that locals have been keeping to themselves. This four-star apartment sits right on Piazza Pradaval, and I mean right there — you’re literally in the heart of Verona‘s historical center. The building has that authentic Italian charm you can’t fake, with original details that remind you this city has been welcoming travelers for centuries. What struck me immediately was how quiet it felt despite being so central — there’s something about the way these old piazzas are designed that just absorbs the city noise.
The Perfect Location
Honestly, the location is pretty much unbeatable. You’re a two-minute walk from Juliet’s House (yes, that Juliet), and the Arena di Verona is practically around the corner. I watched couples taking evening strolls right outside the window, and you know what? They’ve got it figured out — this spot scored a perfect 10.0 with couples for good reason. The narrow cobblestone streets branch out in every direction, leading to hidden wine bars and family-run trattorias that tourists staying in the modern districts never find. Plus, there’s actually parking available on-site, which is basically a miracle in a medieval city center.
The Space Itself
The room — well, it’s more like having your own little Veronese pied-à-terre. The space feels authentically Italian without being stuffy or museum-like. Large windows flood everything with that golden light that makes Verona look like a Renaissance painting, and the furnishings strike that perfect balance between comfort and character. I appreciated the thoughtful touches — good WiFi (essential for staying connected), quality linens, and a kitchenette that’s actually functional if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the morning market in Piazza delle Erbe.
Living Like a Local
What I loved most was how staying here made me feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary resident. The morning routine became grabbing espresso from the bar downstairs, then wandering through the piazza as vendors set up their stalls. Evenings meant aperitivo at one of the nearby wine bars — the kind of places where the bartender remembers your order after two visits. The apartment’s central location means you’re walking everywhere, which is exactly how Verona should be experienced. No rushing to catch buses or figuring out taxi routes — just step outside and you’re already where you want to be.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s the combination of authentic atmosphere, unbeatable location, and the feeling that you’ve found something special. The property earned a 9.8 location score, and after spending time here, I’d say that’s actually conservative. You’re not just staying in Verona’s historical center — you’re living in it, even if just for a few days. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of this ancient city, complete with the privacy of your own space and the excitement of stepping into centuries of history every time you walk out the door.

This was our second stay at this property. The location is fantastic. Communication with the staff is quick and easy. They were kind enough to recommend some of their favorite places in Verona. This apartment is spacious, clean and well supplied. We appreciate that there is parking nearby.
What could be improved: We have found in our travels that Italian hotel beds are very firm-These are no exception. The bedding is clean and comfortable.Christopher from Germany – 22 November 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: Sound proof windows on street side of property.Teresa from Germany – 3 September 2024 (10/10)
The location is fantastic! The apartment is even better than it shows in the photos. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and very helpful.
What could be improved: There is nothing we disliked about the apartment. There was one surprise. There are two beautiful full bathrooms one with a jacuzzi tub-no shower and one with a shower. We all showered in the same bathroom which was no problem for our group. Just be aware.Haggai from Israel – 6 June 2024 (10/10)
The place is beutiful (even more than it seems in the pictures), spacious, comfortable and very well equiped. Filled with light that comes through the huge windows. Christina and Juliana are very nice and very helpful and the location is just perfect.

Large, comfortable apartment – everything you need catered with high quality. Parking garage and extra bathroom is a bonus!
What could be improved: The master bedroom lacks noise insulation – a bit difficult to sleep with the street noise.Frances from New Zealand – 12 September 2023 (9/10)
We loved the space and the location to everything in Verona. Very well appointed.
What could be improved: We had difficulty with the washing machine and needed help. The door to apartment was difficult to open until we learnt the technique!! The air conditioning was not operating and a portable air conditioner had been installed and fans. We got used to the noise.Liz from United Kingdom – 28 August 2023 (9/10)
Lovely welcome, very accommodating with arrival time and leaving. The apartment had everything we needed.
What could be improved: Air conditioning had broken down, but fans have been installed throughout.
The front bedroom is on a busy road so you can hear traffic but no problem.if your a heavy sleeper.William from United Kingdom – 21 August 2023 (10/10)
We arrived in Verona later than the time we said we would meet the host. However the host met us soon afterwards and we had a short wait outside the property. The apartment is top quality, large and very central. The host could be reached by phone/text/whatsapp when needed. The apartment is on the first floor in a historic building with big windows and balconies in a very central location. One bedroom is at the front and one at the back. We went to see an opera in the Arena during our stay and it is five minutes walk away or less.
