The staff genuinely seems to know their stuff about the area too, which is rarer than you’d think. When I asked about getting around Verona, they didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – they actually sat down and marked specific spots, told me which gelato place locals actually go to (not the one all the guidebooks mention), and warned me about the crowds at certain times of day around the main attractions.

The whole experience just felt… real, I guess? Like, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the shower had proper water pressure, and honestly, I slept better than I have in hotels costing twice as much. There’s this attention to the fundamentals that you don’t always get, especially at this price point. The breakfast situation was simple but done right – fresh local ingredients, nothing pretentious, just good food. And here’s the thing that really sold me on this place: that 9.5 rating isn’t some fluke or fake review padding. You can feel why people love staying here.   The apartment is so well thought through, whilst small it’s perfectly organised with every amenity you could need. We were met with such kindness and every detail has been considered. The property itself is well maintained, it had been decorated for the New Year which was really lovely, there is a terrace in the front and secure entrance, and the location is really perfect.

  Milena is very friendly and helpful. She pointed out many sights we should see. She also had a few snacks and beverages for us. Well equipped with coffee, too! The bed is very comfortable. We also loved being able to sit outside for.our meals.
  
  What could be improved: Sorry to say, too many knick knacks took up so much room in the tiny apartment. It is a very charming apartment, but it needs more room for the travelers belongings. The courtyard could use a cleanup.

  Such a lovely apartment in a quiet area of Verona. I enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard terrace eating and listening to the church bells ring! I loved the neighborhood grocery store, restaurants, and hair salon. it felt like a comfortable home while traveling.

  Great location on a beautiful, quiet street beside the church in which Maria Callas got married. Lots of provisions, coffee, treats provided by the very helpful and nice owner.

  Every need was catered for, a lovely welcoming host, perfect little hideaway near the centre of verona and very quiet too. For a city centre accommodation this hits the spot.

  An absolutely fantastic apartment. Everything you could wish for was provided and it was so clean. Perfectly located too and very quiet as was in a courtyard. We would definitely come back. Great communication with the owner too who was really kind and helpful.

  Great facilities, comfortable bed, welcoming décoration. You can find everything you need and it is spacious for 2 people. The space has been very cleverly used to make a very pretty and cosy little flat. The washing machine was very useful and we really appreciated the varied choice of snacks and little treats in the fridge and outside. We would happily go back in future!👍
