I could walk to the main sights without feeling like I needed a game plan, but when I came back in the evenings, it felt like stepping into a quieter, more residential side of the city. The staff – and this is where places either shine or completely fall apart – genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything worked smoothly. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and when I mentioned I was hoping to catch an early train, they sorted out some practical breakfast timing without making it feel like a huge favor. It’s that kind of effortless hospitality that makes you want to come back. The 9.7 rating makes complete sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, just consistently excellent at being exactly what you need after a day of exploring. If you’re the type who appreciates quality over quantity and wants to feel like you’re staying somewhere special without the pretense, this place gets it right.

  The hot tub and the balcony were my favorite parts. Both beautiful and well kept. I also enjoyed the location. We were able to walk around most of Verona without any problems or issues.
