Case VR Holiday VG12 Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Case VR Holiday VG12 on Via Gian Matteo Giberti, you immediately get that feeling you’ve struck gold with location. I mean, this four-star property sits right in Verona‘s historical center — and I’m talking about the real deal, not some tourist-trap version of “historic.” The building itself has that understated Italian elegance that doesn’t scream for attention but definitely commands respect.
Location Magic
Honestly, the location here is pretty spectacular. You’re literally in the heart of everything that matters in Verona, which explains why couples are giving it perfect 10s for romantic getaways. From your doorstep, you can wander to Juliet’s balcony in about five minutes, hit the Arena di Verona without breaking a sweat, and — here’s what I love — you’re close enough to Piazza delle Erbe that you can actually hear the evening buzz from the cafés. The narrow cobblestone streets around Via Giberti have this authentic medieval vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, but without sacrificing modern conveniences.
The Accommodation Experience
The room setup here is what you’d expect from a well-managed four-star place — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to blend contemporary amenities with the character of the old building. The windows actually open (you know how rare that’s becoming?), and if you’re lucky enough to get one facing the street, the morning light filtering through creates this lovely golden glow. The bathrooms are modern and functional, though not huge — but honestly, when you’re spending your days exploring Verona, who needs a massive bathroom?
Neighborhood Insights
What I really appreciate about this spot is how it puts you right in the mix of local life. Via Giberti isn’t one of those streets that’s completely overrun with tour groups — you’ll see actual Veronese residents going about their daily business. There’s a fantastic little restaurant just around the corner that serves incredible risotto all’Amarone (that’s the local wine, and trust me, it’s worth trying). The morning market at Piazza delle Erbe is a short stroll away, and you can grab fresh produce, local cheeses, and that perfect Italian coffee that somehow tastes different when you’re drinking it in the actual place it comes from.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.2 rating really makes sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails the essentials — prime location, solid comfort, and that intangible feeling of being in the right place. Couples especially seem to get it, probably because there’s something undeniably romantic about being able to step out your door and immediately be surrounded by centuries of history and culture. You’re not just staying in Verona; you’re actually living in it, even if it’s just for a few days. The staff clearly knows their neighborhood well, and they’re genuinely helpful with recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist spots.

Reviews of Case VR Holiday VG12
Bahadır from Turkey – 24 June 2024 (10/10)
What could be improved: Belki yatak odasındaki panjurlu pencereye ve banyodaki pencereye ekstra tül yerleştirilebilir. Eksik yok bence.Ekaterina from Ukraine – 5 June 2024 (9/10)
What could be improved: Кухонні меблі вже трохи зносилися. Погано закривалася шухляда для сміття. Посудомийна машина не вмикалася одразу і погано мила посуд.Kristine from Denmark – 26 April 2024 (10/10)
Meget rent, fin lille gåafstand til centrum. Indkøb og restauranter lige rundt om hjørnet. Gode senge. God kommunikation med udlejer. Dejligt bad. Fin stor terrasse.
The location was perfect, very close to train station. Store Pam around the corner is a very convenient. All sights are within walking distance.

The property is very big and spacious and very modern and in a great location to be able to get to everything 15 min walk into main area. Host very helpful with where to visit and how to get places. Great little place just needs things sorting as stated.
What could be improved: Few bits
it wasn’t cleaned very well
Dust every where and hairs in bath room. Advertised as tea and coffee making facilities which was fruit tea only and a couple of coffee pods not enough for the stay.
There was a constant beeping noise every 20 seconds and was happening for the entire stay which is disturbing through the night.
No extra pillow slips left for the pillows so only one pillow could be used on the bed.
The shower drain was blocked so when we had a shower it backed up and wet the whole of the floor and out into the passage & had to use towels to soak it up.
Only one plug where we could put a travel plug into which was Low down in the lounge near not mirror so made it hard for women to style hair.
Advertised with balcony this is looking over other peoples private balconies and gardens not private and had cigarette numbs lying around we didn’t use.
All windows have external shutters except the bathroom one. This means when your showering with the light on people from other building can see you naked. So we had to shower in the dark.
Definitely needs more mirrors around.Maria from Spain – 14 October 2023 (8/10)
Konstantinos from Greece – 12 August 2023 (10/10)
Clean and spacious apartment. The lady who greeted us was very polite and helpful answering every question we had. The Pizzeria Regnum just a few steps away makes really nice pizzas and all sorts of nibbles and great Aperol spritz.
Close to most amenities and places of interest. We'd stay there again anytime.
Thank you very much.John from Lebanon – 17 May 2023 (10/10)
