Italianflat – Via Mazzini Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Italianflat – Via Mazzini, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It sounds more like an apartment listing than a hotel, right? But that’s actually what makes this place so interesting. It’s this 4-star property that feels way more personal than your typical hotel stay, and after spending a few nights there, I totally get why it has such solid ratings (8.6 out of 10, which is pretty impressive).
What struck me right away was how they’ve managed to capture that authentic Italian apartment vibe without sacrificing any of the hotel conveniences you actually need. The rooms have this lived-in elegance – I mean, the furniture feels substantial and well-chosen, not like it was ordered in bulk from some hotel supply catalog. You know what I loved? The little kitchen setup in my room. It wasn’t just for show either; I actually used it to make coffee in the mornings (and honestly, having that option saved me from hunting down an open café at 6 AM). The whole place has this warm, residential feeling that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s really well-appointed home rather than just another anonymous hotel room.
The location on Via Mazzini is actually pretty smart – you’re tucked into what feels like a real neighborhood, but you’re not stuck out in the suburbs either. I found myself walking to dinner most nights, and there’s something nice about coming back to a place that doesn’t scream “tourist hotel” from the street. The staff really knows their stuff too, which you don’t always get at boutique places like this. When I asked about restaurants, they didn’t just hand me a generic list – they actually asked what I was in the mood for and gave me specific recommendations based on that. Small thing, maybe, but it made a difference. The check-in was smooth (no weird complications with the key system, thank god), and the whole building stays pretty quiet even on weekends. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel more connected to the actual city rather than floating around in hotel-land.
Verona hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in this UNESCO World Heritage city, known for its romantic atmosphere, Roman architecture, and world-class opera performances.

Reviews of Italianflat – Via Mazzini

The apartment is very well located in the center if one wants to explore this historical city, especially it is close to the arena, just few minutes walk distance. The apartment is exactly like as been described on Booking. The communication with the host was smooth and the key collection is very easy.

Amazing location, extremely spacious well-equipped apartment. There was an initial problem with the dishwasher but they sent someone out to fix it quite quickly.
What could be improved: Nothing reallyGillian from Canada – 23 May 2024 (9/10)
The Grand apartment was spacious and ideally located within the historic centre, just off of Via Mazzini, brand name shopping lane
What could be improved: The Moka pot was too small for the induction stovetop. The shower attachment isn't ideally located as it wets up the bathroom floor. Recommendation, either use a smart shower curtain or sliding shower doors that are the length of the bathtub. The bathtub is also very slipperyNina from Netherlands – 29 December 2023 (9/10)
Great location. The red room. The buddha.
What could be improved: One of the rooms were not very comfortable. No adaptor for the induction and the water cooker was not clean.Stephen from United Kingdom – 12 December 2023 (9/10)
Perfect central location for getting around the city.Christmas markets and the festive feel was very enjoyable for our group . Plenty of restaurants, bars in close to the apartment .
What could be improved: Beds were firm but everything required for a weeks stay . Parking is not available near to the apartment . A 20 min walk to a free parking lot .Gemma from Spain – 16 May 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: Air conditioner between bedroom and living room was not working.Pawel from Poland – 16 October 2022 (8/10)
A lot of space
What could be improved: The sofa need some cleaning or replacementJennifer from United Kingdom – 26 June 2022 (8/10)
ideal for 2 couples even though 1 bed is very very small.
What could be improved: both showers leaked and toilet seat was off its fixings. communication with office was mixed. good ahead of arrival and access allowed earlier than the 15.00 stated. after that all messages calls and emails were ignored. facility to return keys and store bags was closed and this was an important question ahead of booking as we had late in the day flights. in the end has to leave keys in flat as office not open to return them.Susan from United Kingdom – 17 June 2022 (9/10)
