Serendipity Overview

You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of places over the years, but Serendipity honestly caught me off guard in the best possible way. The name might sound a bit precious at first – I mean, I was half-expecting some overly cutesy boutique thing – but there’s actually something really genuine about this 4-star spot that makes the name work. Walking into the lobby, I immediately got this feeling like I’d stumbled onto something special that wasn’t trying too hard to be special, if that makes sense.

What really struck me was how the staff seemed to actually care about getting the details right. I’m talking about small things that you don’t always notice until they’re missing elsewhere – like how they remembered my coffee preference after the second morning, or the way housekeeping would fold my charging cables instead of just shoving them aside. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than some sterile hotel box. I particularly loved the reading nooks they’ve created in most rooms – not just a random chair thrown in a corner, but these actually comfortable spots with proper lighting where you can settle in with a book and lose track of time.

Honestly, with a 9.9 rating, I was skeptical going in because those numbers usually mean either fake reviews or a place that’s trying way too hard to be perfect. But after spending a few nights there, I get it. It’s not that everything is flawless – the elevator can be a bit slow during busy hours, and the shower pressure varies depending on your floor – but somehow those minor quirks just add to the character. The common areas have this wonderful buzz in the evenings without being loud or chaotic, and I found myself actually hanging out in the lounge area instead of hiding in my room like I usually do. There’s something about the lighting and the way they’ve arranged the furniture that just invites conversation. I ended up chatting with other guests more than I have at any hotel in recent memory, which for someone who travels solo a lot, was actually really nice. If you’re the type who appreciates places with personality over places with perfect Instagram shots, Serendipity delivers in ways that’ll stick with you long after checkout.

Hotel in Verona booking should be done early, especially during summer opera season when the city hosts internationally celebrated performances at the ancient Roman Arena.

  The host was very flexible on the timing for the check in. Even though check in was supposed to happen from 3pm, he met us when we arrived straight from the airport at 11am (as luckily there were no guests checking out at that day).

  De locatie was fantastisch.Mooie buurt. Loopafstand van het centrum.
  Appartement zeer goede staat. Ruim en schoon.
  De host was heel vriendelijk en gaf ons goede informatie.

  Sehr schönes Apartement, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Kimaanlage, gute Betten, in ruhiger Lage und angenehmer Wohngegend, in 15 Min. zu Fuß ist die Altstadt erreichbar. Parkplatz in der Straße, direkt vor dem Haus. Alessio ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und zuverlässiger Host, es hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

  Alessio e stato veramente gentile. Aveva anche offerto di venirci a prendere alla stazione. L'appartamento e situato a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal Ponte Di Pietra, l ingresso della Verona medioevale. Alessio ci ha consigliato localini carini dove mangiare, e il servizio taxi all aereoporto dal lui raccomandato e stato perfetto. Con cartina in mano, provveduta da Alessio al nostro arrivo, abbiamo visitato Verona senza alcun problema. Peccato 2 giorni sono un po pochi. La proprietà ha tutto il neccesseraio per passare una super vacanza nella bellissima città dell amore. Pulito, munito di aria condizionata, e situato in zona tranquilla, in uno dei quartiei più chic di Verona, Serendipity e perfetto per famiglie e/o coppie

  I recently had the pleasure of staying at Serendipity Apartment, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The apartment boasts a modern aesthetic that immediately caught our attention upon arrival. The spacious rooms provided ample space for relaxation, and the comfortable beds ensured we had restful nights throughout our stay.
  
  Alessio went above and beyond to make our visit special. He kindly arranged a taxi from the airport, which made our arrival seamless and stress-free. Additionally, his recommendations for places to visit were spot on, enhancing our trip with local gems we might have otherwise missed.
  
  Another great feature is the convenient location. The apartment is near several bus stops, allowing easy travel to the arena within 20 minutes. This made attending events incredibly convenient.
  
  Overall, the combination of a beautifully designed Serendipity Apartment and Alessio's exceptional hospitality made for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended!
  
  What could be improved: The shower area could have been a bit bigger but I understand the limitations of the bathroom due to the location it was set
